30 Seconds To Mars: 'Attack'

Despite the fact they've been together since 2001, and are fronted by the regularly gorgeous Jared Leto (no actor looks great all the time!), 30 Seconds To Mars are still not in the public consciousness as much as they perhaps wish they could be, so perhaps new single 'Attack' can change that for the band.
'Attack' is a truly powerful rock song that really shows off Leto's throaty, scratchy, strong vocals marvellously. Interest is peaked as he veers from dark whispered lines to screaming, painful tones, desperation becoming ever more apparent. 30 Seconds To Mars have a mature sound that can only come with practice and time - six years or so has done it for them.
'Attack' shows that Leto isn't just a pretty face, whilst it also contains fantastic melodies and a catchy tune that isn't afraid to veer from the mainstream, but could still appeal to a wide variety of music lovers without compromising the core values of 30 Seconds To Mars.
